Stevenson Lancaster Christmasville Parade 2012 Spring Brook Engine 2 and Utility 5 were decorated and ready to welcome the Christmas season on Saturday, November 24, 2012 for Lancaster's Annual Christmasville Parade.

Utility 5 Spring Brook Gains Two New Interior Firefighters Congratulations to Ron Snyder and Drew Reardon, who graduated from Firefighter I class on November 26 in Holland! They now hold interior firefighter tags and are allowed to enter structures during fires.

Live Burn Training 5/20/2012 Spring Brook, Blossom, Elma, Jamison Road and East Seneca participated in a live burn training exercise on Sunday, May 20 at 530 Pound Road. After several training evolutions inside the structure, the fire companies burned the house.

Spring Brook Assists with Rollover On the morning of May 17, Spring Brook was called to assist East Seneca Fire Company with clean up after a milk tanker rolled over on the entrance ramp to the 400 from Transit Road. The ramp was shut down for more than five hours while crews cleaned up the mess.
Spring Brook Welcomes New Recruits Spring Brook Fire District would like to extend a welcome to our newest members - Danny, Andrew, Matthew, and Ronald. All four new recruits were sworn into the fire district and allowed to answer calls on May 7, 2012. Thank you for your willingness to serve your community!
Recruit NY Open House at Spring Brook As part of the state-wide recruiting initiative, Spring Brook Fire District #1 held an Open House on Sunday, April 22. Despite the damp, cool weather, many residents of Elma and the surrounding towns came out to meet our firefighters and see the equipment used in protecting the residents of the fire district. Spring Brook had four new members join, and several others filled out applications for the remaining companies in town. Thank you to all those who came to show your support, and thank you to our volunteers for helping make the event a success! Fire Captain Dan Marks assisting new recruit Kevin Ellis with auto extrication Firefighters Chris Taylor, of Spring Brook, and Jack Anzalone, of Blossom, demonstrate auto extrication operations for residents. 2nd Assistant Chief Amy Fisher and Commissioner Charlie Bethge Town of Elma Companies Participate in Live Burn Blossom, Jamison Road, and Elma fire companies joined Spring Brook on the morning of Sunday, February 19, 2012 to participate in a live burn training exercise at New Bullis and North Blossom Roads. Firefighters were trained in protecting exposures and in the use of foam in extinguishing fires.
